From 14-18th October, The University of Gothenburg’s Marine Research Center in Kristineberg hosted the CONTRAST workshop on the harmonisation of both biological effects methods and biodiversity assessments.
Intercalibration exercises for several biological effects in fish were prepared, including EROD, AChE, PAH metabolites, VTG and micronuclei. These intercalibrations will take place under the BEQUALM quality assurance scheme and all European Laboratories are invited to take part.
